Publishing Ebooks That Sell Themselves

Now that you have wrote, or have had written for you an ebook “so good” that it should sell itself don’t be surprised if it doesn’t! 

I’m not insinuating that you won’t be able to sell your ebook but I am inferring that your work is not done yet.

If you really want to sell your ebook you need to create a page that “sells” it. 

It’s called a sales page and special attention needs to be given to it, to make sure anyone who gets to it, will feel compelled to read it, long enough to find out that your ebook is so great, that they have to buy it.

To make sure you eBooks sales page is compelling you need to start by writing a catchy headline which uses words people who are looking for the solution your ebook solves may be using to show you identify with your customers and their problems and at least hints at a solution. Your head line, like all text on your sales page, should be in an easy to read font and one that displays well in all browsers. 

From your main head line you will want to roll into a sub headline which is an extension of the main headline and serves to build hype enough to grab readers attention and get them exited enough to read the rest of the page and all about all the benefits your ebook will give them.  

Your first few paragraphs should be used to build report with your customer let them know that you understand their problems. Following the introductory paragraphs explain that your ebook is here to solve it. 

Then show them a picture of your ebook. Although eBooks don’t need covers you should still show them a professional looking representation of what your ebook would look like. People almost need the image of a book to help them understand what there “virtually” getting and research shows that better the ebook cover image looks the better sales will do.

After displaying a picture of the book you should offer a button or field in which people can start the process of purchasing if they choose. After the “Buy Now” area of your sales page you will want a list of specific benefits your book will solve, for the “doubting” but still interested group.

Once you have laid out all of the benefits’ of your ebook follow up with a strong call to action. Perhaps a limited time offer or something that shows the potential customer that procrastination leads to regret. Again offer means to start the buying process within site of the words or a picture that represents a guarantee and then expound on the greatness of the guarantee to ease the doubters mind about the safety and security they can feel in making the decision to buy now. 

All of these things should be considered the backbone of your sales page strategy if you truly want to have your ebook sell itself!

So I know I have already posted a little about this system.  But now I am going to post a quick review about it and what I think of it.  If you are looking to begin making money on the internet, or are even an experienced marketer, you need to check this out!

Viral Ad System is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost.  So I decided to put it to the test...
My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel.  It is easy to read and understand.  Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.
The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.  Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Viral Ad System" links.  You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Viral Ad System Ad Generator, which is very easy to use.  You can create as many links and as many ads as you like.  And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference.  Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.  Very smart!
After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic.  Just use and promote the new Viral Ad System link instead of the original source link you had.  Every time the Viral Ad System link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom.  It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Viral Ad System.  So if anyone clicks the Viral Ad System image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral.  It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.
Now every time the ad window displays (your Viral Ad System links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked.  So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.
And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Viral Ad System (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Viral Ad System image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks.  And this works up to 5 levels deep.  So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Viral Ad System also.
I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed.  Viral Ad System even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.  That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.
There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--downline emailing.  You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Viral Ad System really shines.  They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your downline.  But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again.  Now THAT's cool.
Overall, I have to say I am impressed with Viral Ad System.  It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises.  Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

Quick Note on Binaural Beats

Good afternoon.  I apologize for this weeks' post being a few days behind schedule.  I will remedy that situation next week with a more timely post.  I want to use this weeks post to inform you of a relatively new age technology for self development that is called binaural beats.  Now the science has been around for decades, but within the last ten years there have new and much more significant discoveries in how to utilize the technology for the maximum benefit.  If you want to learn about binaural beats and their history and current uses please feel free to check this site out: http://www.BrainwaveSynchronization.net/binauralbeats.  It is full of great information and explains really as much as you want to know about the technology.  If you would prefer to just sit back and watch a video explanation then feel free to check this page out: http://www.relationshipeq.com/binaural-beats/ .  The page provides a great video that explains in detail about the discovery, process and practice of binaural beats. 
Personally I am very fond of using brain entrainment technology in my quest for personal development and success.  If you were to browse my itunes folder you would see about 33% binaural beats and isochronic tones (the younger brother of binaural beats), 33% success and wealth audio books and files and hypnosis and 33% music.  I will cover some about self hypnosis and some of the resources I know about and use in a later post.
One of my favorite resources and most utilized source of binaural brain entrainment that I use is generated by a company called BrainSync.  You can find BrainSync at http://www.Brainsync.com. Here you will find all of their information and binaural meditation (guided/simple) tracks.  Their main designer/speakers' name is Kelly Howell.  You hear her voice on a large majority of their downloads.  She has a very calm and soothing voice, it really helps put your mind at ease when her voice combines with the brain-wave entrainment.  They have great binaural, and I believe some isochronic downloads.   Another resource I am fond of, is a company called Meditainment.  Find them at http://www.meditainment.com.  They provide more guided meditation tracks and I do not believe they utilize binaural beats.  So if you prefer just the guided meditation approach definitely check their site out! They offer free samples for you to get started.  Well that will wrap up todays posting.  I hope you have some time to check out a few or all of the sites that I have shared with you.  I truly believe they offer great resources for personal growth, success and help offer a more total peace of mind.  Personally, since I began using these resources only three months ago, I have gained a remarkable amount of patience, perserverance and willpower.  I am also much less prone to any anger outbursts or flare ups.  I have gained a remarkable amount of patience.  I am much calmer and more relaxed at all times.  I want to wish you well on your journey of self discovery and improvement!

Day 1: First post to the new blog

Good evening everyone. I am going to give this whole blogging craze a go. The blog will be weekly and it will focus on self improvement and various tools and methods that I have tried and/or recommend. I will also highlight new methods that I learn about, and some that sound interesting. I am an avid practicioner of listening to both subliminal messaging and affirmations, as well as both binaural and iso-chronic beats. I will cover a lot of tools involving these and other methods. I will also focus some on career development. As I am currently in the process of going back to school in order to completely turn my career upside down and basically start over; this topic is of great personal interest to me. I have read and am beginning to read many different ebooks on these particular subjects and I will help to point them out for readers and also add a review when I finish reading.  When possible, I will also throw in some new technology, gadgets and information that I find interesting.
