Turbo Charge Your Personal Development

You have just purchased your next personal development program / book and now what do you do? They say only 10% of the people even get past the first CD/ Tape/ chapter, let alone finish.

Would you like to know how to get at least 90% more from all of the personal development programs you have just purchased? And no, I won’t tell you to just listen to them 5 times.

Yes, that would increase your results, but not as much as what I am going to share. Besides who has the time to listen to their programs 5 times?  How about getting more out of the first time?

Let’s say you are one of the few people that actually gets to the end of one of those personal development programs. How would you like to have a system to guarantee that you implement all the great stuff you just learned? How many times have you heard some really great ideas, only to find yourself 4 weeks later not applying any of it?

Your first step is to setup a system to insure you actually finish the program. It will do you no good if you never hear the message. These steps might seem cumbersome, however at the end of this article, I will introduce you to a tool that will make these steps easier.

The first step is to get Accountable to someone that you will finish the program. Now this is a very easy step to brush off, but committing to someone else will send a very powerful message to your subconscious mind and clear away a lot of the future mental hiccups.

Tell your Accountability Buddy when you will complete this program and that you will be giving them weekly updates on your progress. I will explain what you will put in those weekly progress reports below.

Now you have a system in place to give you the best chance at completing your personal development program. It is time to start. Choose a schedule of when you want to learn the program.

Each day you scheduled yourself to listen to the program, write down a Yes or No to the question, “Did I listen to my personal development program today?” Next, write down the most important piece of information about the program you learned.

These two pieces of information are going to be what is in the progress reports you give your Accountability Buddy each week.

Once you complete the program, review your progress reports and celebrate your victory with your Accountability Buddy.

Why does this work?

There are a couple of forces at play here. The first is being accountable to someone else. We all want to look good to our friends, so being on the hook to complete the program will definitely get us to extend ourselves.  We might not be 100%, but we will definitely get much more done then if we didn’t employ our Accountability Buddy.

The next force at play is tracking what we are doing. No longer will life be a blur of events that get lost in the past. We will have a very specific history of where we are slipping and we will have the chance to make course corrections along the way.

We all make mistakes and slip up sometimes. It is only when we have no clue as to when it is happening that we can find ourselves in deep trouble.

Lastly, you are employing a system of super learning called spaced repetition to lock the new information into your long term memory. First, you listen to the material. Later that day, you write down the most important point anchoring that information in your mind.

Upon completion of the program, you lock the information in your long term memory with you’re a final review, not to mention, it is always there if your need a quick refresh.

After you finish your personal development program and it is locked in your long term memory, it is time to put it into action. Follow the exact same system you used to finish the program in the first place.

1. Find someone to get accountable to implementing the new information in your life.

2. Set up the days you will work on implementing the system.

3. Write down the key thing you did to implement the new information on that day.

4. Share your progress reports with your Accountability Buddy.

5. Celebrate your success and review your progress reports when complete.

If the new information you learned will take a long time to implement, feel free to break it down into parts so you can celebrate on the way and review your progress. Now get accountable and get yourself going.

The Manifesting Mindset for Self Improvement

For years we have been exposed to self help and motivational instruction that focuses heavily on the physical world.
For some this has been highly effective while for others this hasn’t always been the case.
Why is that? I believe that success comes to those who have the manifesting mindset.

What is the manifesting mindset? It’s simply thinking in a way that is in harmony with the universe.
I know that sounds spiritual, well it is. The reason some people seem to get everything they want and have abundant success is mainly due to their Manifesting Mindset.

If we have a subconscious belief that, for example: Wealth is good and rich people are happy, than your mind will allow you to manifest that wealth.
However, if you have subconscious thoughts that are negative towards the attainment of wealth, than you will vibrate an energy that will not attract wealth.
Have you or anyone you have known ever had a successful business or made a lot of money, and then after a period of time, lost it all or in part?

Or how about; if you have had some business success or other personal achievements and caught yourself say something like “I’m so lucky” or “I can’t believe I’m doing this”, and then had a turn around in your luck or your achievements?

Those are examples of subconscious thoughts that are sabotaging your chances of maintaining your success.

Another example of the Manifesting Mindset at work is trying to solve problems; Manifesting Mindset techniques teach you how to solve problems in your sleep.
It isn’t a new concept that if you focus too much on a problem with your conscious mind you will never find the best answer, but if you allow yourself to “sleep on it”
It will often come to you as an epiphany!

Then there’s daydreaming, how many great ideas have come to you when you relax your mind and allow your thoughts to wonder around the universe, and suddenly you realize that you have just solved a problem that has been bugging you for years?
Now that’s being in harmony with the universe.

Here’s one of my favorite thoughts:
It’s about great inventions.
Do people invent things, or just understand the powers of energy in the universe?

Thomas Edison; light bulb, Alexander Graham Bell; telephone
It was always POSSIBLE to have a light bulb even before Edison UNDERSTOOD how to make one!
After he made one, it soon became one of the most common items in the world!
Now everyone uses the light bulb. Imagine trying to explain a light bulb and convince someone that it works before Edison made one.

The same is true with the Manifesting Mindset; we are only now beginning to understand and harness the energy that makes up our universe, and while there is undoubtedly much more for us to learn, one thing is for sure, knowledge is power and understanding the Manifesting Mindset will allow you to achieve all that you truly deserve.

Here are a couple of positive affirmations for you:
"Healthy living ideas flow to me easily."
"I let go of the past so I can create health now."
"I deserve to be in perfect health."

A Couple Quick Self Improvement Tips

An ordered life is one of the most assured methods of self-improvement. The saying “tidy desk - tidy mind” is also certainly true but only a small part of it. It is important that you order your life in such a manner that allows you to do everything you need to do, when you need to do it. You should also be able to effectively ensure that you become happier and more content, as well as progress with your career, make new friends and anything else that you want in life.

While work is important, you should always make time to spend with your family and be sure to take a little personal time. This personal time could be an excellent opportunity to take up a physical hobby. Exercising helps to clear the mind and produce chemicals in your body that are essential for happiness and stress relief and are often lacking. Modern living involves longer working hours and less personal time. Inevitably this has led to less social interaction between friends and family.  It is important that you schedule your time to include social activities with those close to you.

Always set goals for yourself to help aid in your progress. Increasing the amount of exercise you do will only be beneficial and successful if you have a reason to do it. If you simply want to get fitter and stay healthy then set yourself an achievement goal. If you currently walk 1 mile a day, then aim to walk 5 miles a day. When you are walking 5 miles a day, consider if there is any way you can improve upon your progress.  Always move forward, never stand still.

As mentioned, time with your family and friends is essential. We are social animals by nature and so human interaction is not only natural but also healthy and pleasurable. Taking up a sport with a friend or group of friends would combine exercise with interaction and be one perfect solution. Your friends may turn out to be the extra motivation you require in the event of times when you experience low motivation.

It is up to each of us as individuals to take control of our lives and include all of the aspects that are required to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.  When you begin to set aside more time for interaction with friends and family you will notice the great effect it has on lowering your stress and irritability levels.

Including exercise in your routine at least three times a week will also go a long way in improving your overall health and well-being.  Exercise will also help to get your body in better shape and that is beneficial in countless ways.  In short, take some time out of your day to play with your friends and family and remember to stay active!

Applying Gratitude and the Law of Attraction in Your Life

The Law of Attraction works in a very simple way. Whatever you place your attention on grows bigger. Put another way - you get more of what you focus on! Or, put another way - what your attention rests on expands! This is the very foundation upon which the Law of Attraction works.

In order to fully utilize this law and, thus create the life you want, you need to be very careful about where you are placing your attention. You need to be aware that all the negative or positive thoughts you are having are creative. The Law makes no differentiation between positive and negative. If a thought, any thought, is maintained for a mere 60 seconds the Law of Attraction immediately begins the manifestation of that thought. Every single time!

So regardless of what it is you are thinking about, no matter what it is, it only takes 60 seconds to begin manifesting it. This sounds great to the beginner. Wow, 60 seconds to the life of your dreams. All you have to do is sit quietly for 60 seconds, think about what you want and the Law of Attraction will bring it to you effortlessly. However, it gets a little more complicated than that!

When most people first learn about the Law of Attraction they think that they can visualize living in a mansion, driving a jaguar, owning a jet and marrying a model etc. and then just sit back and wait on the effortless results that will follow. However, they fail to realize that every thought is creative - not just the good ones! If you visualize the life of your dreams for just 60 seconds you begin to manifest it. This is totally true. "Well", you may say, "I have imagined living my dream life for a lot longer than 60 seconds. In fact I have dreamt about it all my life sometimes spending hours lost in my fantasy and it still hasn’t come true".  To this I simply say - Every Thought Is Creative!

Spending time visualizing your ideal life is great but do you sustain those thoughts throughout the rest of your day. Or, do you go around complaining about how bad things are? My guess is, if you don’t have the life of your dreams, then you do the latter! These negative thoughts are also creative and are much more abundant in the majority of people. If the thoughts are backed with high emotion then they manifest even faster! You literally cancel out the good work you have done in your visualization. You are storing up great things for yourself but through your dominant negative thinking you are keeping them away from you!

Now, don’t get me wrong, visualization is an extremely powerful tool that can and will totally transform your life, but only when you use it in accordance with the Law. The Law of Attraction always works. It never sleeps and it never fails. It is an unbending Universal Principle. Every thought is creative. Every single thought. Therefore you need to change your dominant mental patterns before you can see any real tangible results from consciously trying to use this law.

So how do we do that?

You do that by changing your focus. You must change the way you view your world. See the world as a nasty, unforgiving, greedy, violent place and that is what you will attract more of. Begin to look for the beauty that is around you. Look for the abundance even if you are not fully experiencing it in your own life right now. Look for the things you want. Try to notice all the people who are currently enjoying the life you want to live and rejoice in their good fortune.

So how do we do that?

Simple! You get into a place of gratitude for what you already have. What you focus on you get more of and what you place your attention on expands! By being grateful for what is in your life at the moment you put your attention on what you like and you get more of it. By feeling good about areas of your life that are working you are sending out very positive thoughts that the Law of Attraction immediately begins to manifest. What you focus on you get more of and what you place your attention on expands!!!

Are you starting to see the power of gratitude and how it can work wonders for each of us?

If, on the other hand, you allow your attention and focus to center around the things that are not working in your life then they will expand and you will get more of what you don‘t want. Think about this seriously. Give it some real contemplation. Can you identify areas in your life where this has happened or is continuing to happen now? The sayings in our everyday language sum up this Universal Law, "it never rains but it pours", "when something goes wrong, everything goes wrong", or "Murphy’s law rears its’ ugly head again" etc.

If you get jealous over another person’s good fortune, then you are actually affirming that you don‘t have what they do and therefore focusing your attention on your own lack! However, by having gratitude for what you do have and rejoicing in another’s good fortune you are actually focusing your attention on what you do want, and ..... What you focus on you get more of, and what you place your attention on will expand!

So be grateful for what you do have. Be happy for another person’s success. Show gratitude all the time, and your focus will be on the positive, and your attention will be placed on what you desire. Your attitude will change when your attention is squarely placed on the things in life that you want, and you do this through gratitude. So to keep yourself on track, maintain a positive attitude with a focus on gratitude.

Always remember these two aspects of the law.

If a thought is maintained for a mere 60 seconds, the Law of Attraction immediately begins to manifest it.
What you focus on, you get more of, and what your attention rests on will expand!

5 Ways to Maximize Your Personal Energy Supply

Different governments, officials, environmental agencies exhort us to conserve the energy we use in order to save the environment and sustain our continued existence on the planet.

On a personal level I think that we also need to know how to conserve, focus and maximise our own personal supply of energy. We unconsciously dissipate and waste our energy on people, situations, thoughts, attitudes and events which do not serve us well. This leaves less space and energy for creating and attracting the kind of abundance that we want in our lives.

Interestingly enough I've also found that as I conserve, focus and thereby maximize my energy, I tend to use less energy on craving and acquiring "stuff", but more energy focusing on what is truly important to me, thereby helping the environment.

So here are 5 Ways to Maximize Your Personal Energy Supply.

1. Release Resistance

Releasing resistance will affect a profound change in your level of energy and how you view the world. Resistance often feels as though we are going against ourselves in order to satisfy some internal authority or a myriad of "should's" "ought's" and "have- tos". It takes a tremendous amount of energy to be resistant.

Related feelings and behavior include: procrastination, using willpower and discipline to effect change (otherwise known as "I Have To Struggle To Achieve What I Want"!), stubbornness, inflexibility, wanting to be right rather than happy (a very popular one:), holding onto self limiting beliefs way past their sell by date.

Releasing resistance can be as easy as just making a decision to let go of whatever you are holding onto. Energy therapy also helps release resistance at a very deep level.

2. Reduce time watching TV

Watching TV unconsciously is very exhausting. Haven't you noticed that when you watch TV continuously and do little else, you become extremely tired? That's because you are merely a passive recipient of information that you're not fully engaged with. On an energetic level, taking in all of those rays from the TV (similar to a computer) is overstimulating on a physiological level. Of course while you are watch TV, it means that you're not doing something more productive.

Am I saying that you stop watching TV altogether? No, but to be more selective and watch only those programs that you are engaged with. I'd also say that stop watching the TV news - all of that manufactured fear really affects you on a cellular level. I find that my mindset, moods and overall energy improve significantly when I watch less TV.

 3. Consciously create vacuums

Ever heard of the saying: "Nature abhors a vacuum". If you clean out an area of your life, you are giving the Universe a message to bring in something to replace it. This is otherwise known as energetic and/or physical clutter clearing. Start with either. Most people find it easier to start with clearing out the physical which has an effect on their energies. You are consciously creating the space for change to occur and inviting what you want into your life. This is much much easier than efforting to make things happen.

4. Avoid/deal with Energy Vampires

One of the quickest ways to get an energy boost is to disassociate yourself from those with those whose energy drains you. It is very effective. Unfortunately, it also becomes a little more difficult if they are your partner, member of your family, work colleagues or boss. It helps to develop a stronger set of boundaries and energetic protection, so that they are less likely to affect you in this way.

5. Create quiet time for yourself every day.

Not to do anything (unless it relaxes you), but just to clear and refresh your mind. We are human beings, not doings. There are times when our crowded schedule and minds don't allow space and time for the creative to be welcomed in. Einstein liked to go sailing in the afternoons after working in the morning. Okay, most of us don't have this opportunity, but you get the point.

If you only do one of the above, then your life will undergo a profound change.

If you want more information on this topic, you can check out a very interesting site called Wake Up World.  This site has some very interesting insights on different ways to both gain and maximize your personal energy.

A Review of THE Viral Link Cloaking and List Building Service

So you have finally stepped into the world of making money online. You too, like the others, have decided to start with the affiliate programs. Also, you must have heard that it's not a big deal to make good money with affiliate marketing, provided you choose the right programs and do some strategic planning while promoting your affiliate products. So far so good.

Whether you are promoting other people's products or promoting your own products - that doesn't matter because after all it is nothing but your own business and your means to earn good money. So whichever be your case, I am sure you would not want to leave money on the table and invite others to steal your share of profit.

Even though the industry of affiliate marketing is pretty competitive but if you are cautious and are strategic in your marketing techniques then, it could be very profitable for you.

Take a close look at the industry, you will see that not every one who gets into affiliate marketing is successful. People who are doing well leave no room for failure and take all security measures and understand its importance.

Yes! Security is one of the key factors in affiliate marketing. If you do not adopt proper security measures, then your business will be at high risk. One of the most important way to restore security is to protect your affiliate links. Do not take them for granted. A bit of carelessness on your part in regards to affiliate links may cost you a lot of dollars.

Do you know the long complicated links that you send to your prospective customers not only look convoluted but they can create a lot of problems too! If you send such an affiliate link to your customers, then the smart ones will definitely figure out that you are promoting someone else's product and they would rather visit the parent company. Also, if your link does not function then your customers have to type a really long URL into the browser, which will definitely put him or her off.

You could be a victim of even a worse situation. What if some devious Internet pirates steal your affiliate links and replace them with theirs. If they do that, then you get no commission at all.

Did I scare you off with all of the above possibilities? Well, that certainly wasn't my intention. I just wanted to open your eyes and state facts that actually happen in the world of Internet. It happened with me until I came across this site , that brought a revolution to my online ventures.

So, if you are not getting the desired results out of your affiliate marketing, don't lose hope. There's definitely a remedy to this problem and that is this site.
Do I hear you asking, what is it and how can it help in averting any adverse situation for an affiliate marketer like me?
Be patient and read on, if you love your business.

This site is a link shortener & cloaker that protects you in the truest sense. There may be many unethical people lurking around, who might play with your affiliate links by cutting them off or replacing them with their own etc. How much effort you put in towards building your business and advertising your business, if your links are tampered with, then all your hard work will be rendered useless.

In order to avoid such a rip off, this site gives you full protection and sees to it that your affiliate links never get exposed to others.

So save yourself from getting ripped. Get all the commissions to your account that you rightfully deserve. All this is made possible by this site.

It is a blessing for every affiliate marketer like you and me, who wants to achieve success in their endeavor.

Is this site limited to only link protection?

NO!

It does much much more than that. Let's see what this site can do for us:

*This site helps us in protecting commission.
*This site helps in building mailing lists.
*This site helps in tracking statistics.
*This site helps in earning extra ad credits.

In short, This site allows us to create massive business leverage.
I don't see any negative aspect associated with this site. All you have to do is join it for free, then cloak your links, promote them and see your business soaring higher and higher.

You can get all detailed information about the program from this site. There, you can find several unsolicited testimonials from various users of this site. So if you want to protect your business and see your earnings grow, try this site. You have nothing to lose with it.  I hope I see you over there!

Setting and Achieving Goals

Setting and Achieving Your Goal

There is no defined method to setting and achieving your goal. But if you read related literature and ask around for advice, the answers may be summed up into one thing: Know exactly what you want.

When setting and working towards achieving your goal, you have to be specific. General statements like "I want to own a car" are not as clear cut and effective as "I want to own a Ford Lynx within two years." Realizing this difference will help you be able to map out your life strategy more efficiently.

Paul Meyer, the author of "Attitude is Everything", suggest a S-M-A-R-T way to setting and achieving your goals. SMART means:

S- Specific (Again, know what you want)

M- Measurable (How much do you want?)

A- Action oriented (Something you can achieve by working for it)

R- Realistic (within your resources and means)

T- Tangible (something that you can appreciate and remind yourself of your hard work)

It would be good to set goals that challenge you. Otherwise, there really wouldn't be any point and fun to the process. When setting and seeking to achieve your goal, choose something that would not only benefit you in the end, but also offer a lot of lessons while you're at it. In this way, if you, unfortunately, do not get to reach your goal, you will still be thankful that you learned a lot of new things along the way.

To more easily set and achieve goals, take a little time identifying first what these are, so they won't contradict each other and leave you frustrated. The six areas you can set your goals against may involve family and home, spiritual and moral, finances and career, social, physical and mental. Identify goals in each of these areas to work out a clearer life plan. You will be thankful for the absence of mind clutter after.

Setting and achieving goals requires more than simply recognizing and identifying what they are. You have to realize the difference between a goal and a dream. A dream is something you just aspire for, whereas a goal is something that involves work and some form of sacrifice.

Setting goals is easy. It's the achieving part that poses the challenge. That's why you have to stay SMART at all times. Self-discipline is key. You need to be passionate enough to reach your goal, otherwise, what you've done is just writing random things down and wasting precious time and paper. And that is not smart.

An example is cheating on the goals you have set. You can't say you want to lose four pounds every month and then irresponsibly lose just one pound by not sticking to your diet plan and exercise plan. More importantly, you cannot make up for your blunder by saying "Hey, I'll just lose seven pounds next month." Not only will you be fooling yourself, you might even subject yourself to possible health risks!

As mentioned earlier, there is no fun to a goal that does not involve a challenge. It is boring and will more likely cause you to stray and break what you have set. If you think you don't have the willpower to achieve them, get a goal setting buddy. This way, you will be monitoring each other's progress.

Sacrifice and discipline are needed to setting and achieving effective goals. Sure, they can be quite difficult, but nothing definitely beats the satisfaction you get when you finally start enjoying the fruits of your labor. Now get smart and start moving.

The Importance of Goal Setting

Goal setting is a fundamental skill for everyone on a quest for personal development.  You have to have a goal that you want to achieve and you have to have some sort of a plan on how to achieve it.

The importance of goal setting is evident among professionals. They work full time and yet still manage to have fun with their family; They extend their hands for community service and yet still manage to have some time to do their hobbies.

Their secret lies not in controlling time but in managing time. Time management. This is the essence of goal setting.

The importance of goal setting, however, is not limited to professionals. Every successful people has understood and acknowledged the importance of goal setting. Athletes, doctors, lawyers etc. have used goal setting in one way or the other.

1. Goal Setting is a Map

Identify an area of your life where you want advancement. Then work through the goal process that follows. Here are the steps needed to make a map.

A. Identify the exact goal

What you really want in life? What is your purpose and your objective? You must ask yourself these questions to have a concrete idea of what you want in life.

Time, however, can change the way we look at things. One day you may want to be a published romance novelist after five years, the next day you may want to be a water colour painter with mother and child as inspiration. When this change of heart happens, don't despair. There's no wrong with changing a goal for a another goal. This is part of life. Change, that is. But having an objective, an exact goal at present, will give you an idea of what you want. Changing that goal along the way, as you travelled to reach your goal, is just one of the events that you'll encounter along the way.

B. Identify the completion date

Goals should have a period of completion. It is not a goal if it doesn't have a specific time of completion; it would be a dream. A daydream, that is.

Goals are concrete and realistic aspirations. It isn't a goal when you say, "I want to be a novelist within my lifetime." It is a dream. A goal must be put this way, "I want to be a published romance novelist before I reach 35." This gives you a period to push your pens and write down that publishable novel. It hurries you to reach your goal. It motivates you to beat time, have a published novel ahead of time you've set for yourself.

C. Identify the evolution of the goal

Change is inevitable. And it applies even to goals.

Goals may evolve into something, maybe even far better than your earlier goals. If earlier you want to be a published romance novelist before you reach the age of 35, it may evolve into somethings like: a published Young Adult novelist before you reach the age of 35, and have written a script for a video game.

2. Goal Setting Is Your Vision

When you set a goal, you are actually seeing a vision, a vision of yourself in the near future. Imagine if you accomplished the goal you have set after five years, it was as if you have predicted what you will become five year ago!

Having a vision not only makes you feel contented with yourself, it also pushes you to look ahead and go forward instead of to live in the past.

Here are a couple of positive affirmations for you:
"I am an abundant person."
"I am a magnet for creative ideas."
"I am at peace with the Universe."
